The Web of Life,[1] also known as the Spiderweb,[2] is an adjacent dimension to Earth-688 located in the Multiverse. It works as a net of potential futures, which is connected to the past and other alternate realities.

It looks like a bright spider web suspended in a dark void. Some people with spider-related powers can access and manipulate it, most notably Madame Web.

History[]

Ezekiel Sims' Nightmares[]

After stealing a special spider and murdering Constance Webb in the process, Ezekiel was cursed with recurring nightmares of the revelation that he would be killed in the future by three women with spider powers. This would drive him to try and find them before they could kill him in the present.[3]

Trivia[]

  • In the comics, the Web of Life and Destiny is a three-dimensional construct in five-dimensional space which acts as a model of the entire Multiverse and enables travel between realities.
  • In Venom: The Last Dance, Venom teaches Eddie Brock about Knull and the Codex by showing him visions of how Knull would free himself if he ever got a hold of the Codex. These visions do not come true in the film, however; but Knull swears revenge on Earth. These visions may have a connection to the Web of Life.
