Adrian Toomes, also known as Vulture, is a former enemy of Spider-Man from an alternate universe who was transported into Michael Morbius's reality in 2024. After being released of no criminal charges, he constructed a new Vulture suit and approached Morbius in an effort to form a team.

Adrian Toomes constructed an exo-suit and became the Vulture. He came into conflict with Spider-Man, who eventually sent Toomes to prison.^[1]

In 2024, Adrian Toomes was transported from his home reality to an alternate one with on this earth being the year 2020. He found himself on an otherwise empty cell at Manhattan Detention Complex, and was discovered. Afterwards, a hearing was scheduled that would likely result in his immediate release. He was eventually released once the police had no proof of his criminal record. The news also reported this incident after realizing there was no record of him at all. Upon arriving, Toomes was confused on how it happened.^[1]

After being released, he re-constructed his Vulture exo-suit using other resources,^[2] and read about Michael Morbius. He tracked him down and approached him in forming a team doing some good, thinking Spider-Man was responsible for his displacement. This intrigued Michael Morbius, who agreed to help him.^[1]

Trivia[]

In the comics, Adrian Toomes is a former electronics engineer who was once the business partner of Gregory Bestman. After discovering that Bestman had secretly been embezzling funds and that Toomes had no legal recourse, Toomes decided to use the flight harness that he created to turn to crime professionally as the Vulture. Also, he was one of the founding members of Spider-Man's recurrent group of enemies, the Sinister Six.
