In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance.[1]
Plot[]

Knull sends his Xenophages to find the Codex
Knull, the creator of Symbiotes, recounts how he was betrayed and kept imprisoned on Klyntar by his own creations when the light invaded his kingdom of darkness. He sends his Xenophages throughout the galaxy to search for the Codex, the key to his freedom.

Venom fends off gang members
Displaced in Earth-199999's Tijuana, Mexico, Eddie Brock was conversating with the bartender about certain events that happened in said universe until he was suddenly transported back to his own. Venom swiftly prepares a Bloody Maria for Brock, destroying the bar in the process. As Brock leaves, he finds out that the hunt for him is still ongoing and is now suspected to have murdered detective Patrick Mulligan. Brock and Venom decide to head toward New York City, where Brock was banished from by the legal system. There, Brock plans to blackmail the judge responsible and clear his name while Venom plans to visit the Statue of Liberty afterwards. As they left on their "road trip," Brock and Venom heard the pleading yelps of Dogs in cages, who they freed after fighting a Mexican gang. They once again take their leave, unbeknownst of the Xenophage following them.

Rex Strickland samples a piece of Venom
After General Rex Strickland samples a leftover piece of Venom, the Imperium taking the bartender along, Dr. Teddy Paine is woken up from a dream about her brother's unfortunate death by Strickland and the Imperium returning to Area 51, in process of being demolished, with Mulligan captivated. She arrives at the Imperium program's underground base, Area 55, overseeing the piece of Venom with her coworker Sadie Christmas. Paine, Strickland and Christmas eventually visit Mulligan in his cell, where his bonded Symbiote, Toxin, reveals that he and the other Symbiotes were running from Knull, who will destroy the planet when he finds them, and used Earth for safe haven.

Meanwhile, Brock and Venom hold onto a plane travelling to New York, located by a Xenophage when Venom fully takes control. Venom manages to incinerate the Xenophage by pushing it into the plane's propeller, abandoning the plane and turning into a parachute so that the Xenophage won't find him and Brock when it regenerates. Venom explains all this to Brock, revealing that they have created the Codex Knull needs after Brock's revival during the Battle at the Life Foundation Headquarters in 2019 and that the Codex will die if one of them were to as well. Brock determines to leave immediately, having Venom control a horse as to travel further. Strickland, not believing Toxin's words, orders his team to travel to Brock's location. Brock and Venom are ambushed and chased down a river's stream, Venom bonding with multiple animals in order to get to Brock. Venom fully transforms as to protect Brock, leading a Xenophage to him that instead kills the soldiers hunting him down when he disappears.

Toxin alerts the Imperium of a looming threat
Toxin, fully transforming, senses the other Symbiotes kept in Area 55 with the exception of Venom. He explains to Strickland that either Venom or his host must die to keep the Codex unobtainable to Knull. Despite Paine's protests, Strickland resolves to kill either one. Brock concurrently continues his trip, coming across a family heading towards Area 51, consisting of Martin Moon, his wife Nova and his children Echo and Leaf. Under way in their van to Las Vegas, Brock refuses to sing along to David Bowie's "Space Oddity" with the family and Venom. That evening, Leaf wakes up to give Brock a chocolate bar, though he is not allowed to eat food containing sugar. He also tells Brock that he does not believe in aliens, as he is scared of him; Brock calms him by telling him he is constantly scared and that aliens do not exist. As Leaf goes back to sleep, Martin awakens as he notices Brock talking to Venom. Brock excusing it to be him talking in his sleep, Martin tells him about the Nierika when Brock looks at a drawing depicting it, a doorway in one's mind usually kept hidden in secret until their death. With all the "crazy things" in the world, Martin says that Brock can see them if he is "open," which Brock assures he has.

Brock and Venom depart from the Moon family when arriving in Las Vegas, where they attempt to enter a casino. Not allowed to enter because of his worn-out clothing, Brock is helped into a suit when Venom knocks out a person wearing it beforehand. Upon entrance, Venom immediately wastes Brock's 20 dollars on a slot machine. A saddened Brock and Venom cheer up once they run into Mrs. Chen. Strickland, notified of Brock's current location, requests control of the Imperium program from the higher-ups. Brock and Venom are located once more by the Xenophage after Venom assumes his full form in order to dance with Chen, making it leave only for the Imperium to finally capture Brock and Venom. As the Moon family trespasses Area 51, Brock awakens in his cell and is approached by Mulligan and Toxin, Toxin instructing him to enlist the help of the other captured Symbiotes in Area 55. When Strickland and his team enter the cell room, he shoots Brock dead, prompting Venom to fend his team off and bond with Brock again. Toxin sacrifices himself and Mulligan when trying to hold a Xenophage back. Brock makes his leave as multiple Symbiotes, including Lasher, Jim, Lava, Animal, Tendril and others, are freed and bond to hosts as to fight against the Xenophage.

Venom drives a motorcycle to lure Xenophages
The Symbiotes break out of Area 55, continuing the fight against the Xenophage on Area 51. Brock meets the Moon family atop a watch tower, saving them when said tower falls. As Paine brings the family to safety, the Xenophage releases a soundwave that irritates the Symbiotes and alerts the other Xenophages on Klyntar. Brock equips a motorcycle when he decides to distract the Xenophages that have traveled to Earth and demands Strickland to follow him, letting Venom use his full form and then disappear when driving over a pile of bombs which the Xenophage climb upon. The emitted explosion did not suffice, one of the Xenophages impaling Strickland. Brock chops its head off while Christmas' Symbiote Lasher slices off its stabbing tentacles to rescue Strickland. Brock is subsequently ambushed and badly injured by another Xenophage, nearly getting eaten by it until Martin shoots its head. Martin quickly leaves when the Xenophage looks back at him. As Lasher is eaten by a Xenophage, Venom hides Brock in a crashed helicopter. With more Xenophages closing in, a melancholy Venom repeats his wish to have seen the Statue of Liberty, Brock assures him he will, but Venom tells him that the Xenophages will just keep coming regardless. Realizing what Venom means, Brock laments that they were meant to be the Lethal Protector, though Venom assures him that they still are. Accepting that their time has come, Venom heals Brock's wounds as the pair exit the helicopter before Venom fully transforms, attracting the Xenophages before merging with them and dragging them towards the acid tanks. Once there however, Venom ejects Brock before signaling Strickland to activate the acid tanks. Venom then bids Brock farewell and covers his best friend with a jeep door as Strickland activates the acid tanks before detonating a grenade, killing himself as well as destroying the Xenophages, Venom and the rest of Area 51. Unable to outrun the oncoming explosion, Paine releases a symbiote she stole earlier and transforms into Agony before saving herself and Christmas from the explosion. Still alive, an injured Brock utters "Nierika" before passing out.
Brock awakens in a hospital bed, trying to speak to Venom. The General tells him that Venom is not coming back and that his crimes are expunged, warning him of his fate if he were to tell anyone about them. Brock later travels to New York City, New York, viewing the Statue of Liberty from a distance as he remembers the time he spent with Venom. He proclaims that he will never forget him, as he asked before his apparent death. Meanwhile, still imprisoned on Klyntar, Knull declares the universe no longer safe, planning on killing everyone as Brock watches.
Back at the burning remains of Area 51, the bartender found his way out of Area 55, unable to find anyone. He runs away in a panic as a black cockroach crawls out of the rubble next to a broken vial that previously contained a sample of Venom.
