Biography[]

Working for Strickland[]

Stationed on Area 51[]

Thompson was one of the many soldier from the United States Army that worked at Area 51 under the command of general Rex Strickland. He was stationed in the facilty while it was on it's last legs following the capture of the Symbiotes, as the government was in the process of decommissioning Area 51 and moving the Symbiote research project to a covert subsurface bunker known as Area 55.[1]

Attack of the Xenophage[]

Shortly after capturing Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote, Area 51 was attacked by the Xenophage, a creature that was after the symbiote's Codex. The facility was destroyed further after the symbiotes that they captured were freed from containment to fight the Xenophage.

Thompson got aboard a chopper and began shooting down many of the Xenophages that were arriving from Klyntar. After Eddie Brock told Rex that he would round the Xenophages up, making them chase him, the chopper followed Eddie to a kill box where Thompson shot down a the boxes in there on Rex's orders, creating a huge explosion.

Unfortunately, the Xenophages weren't killed, as one of them launched on the chopper and attacked Thompson, making them crash. On the ground, the Xenophage began chopping down Thompson's legs off before being rescued by Rex, who shot the creature but was later impaled by it. The two were then rescued by Sadie Christmas and Lasher, who put Thompson on a military jeep and told the driver to take him somewhere safe.[1]
