In 2003, the Daily Bugle reported on the disappearance of three girls in New York City.[1]

Reporting on Spider-Man's Disappearance[]

In 2019, Jane Harwood reported on the superhero Spider-Man and his supposed disappearance since this had caused crime to increase in New York City, especially on the subways.[2][3]

Reporting on Dr. Michael Morbius[]

In 2020, Nicque Marina became the new "social correspondent" of the Bugle, reporting on Dr. Michael Morbius' crime spree.[4]

West Coast Edition[]

Inside the Mind of Cletus Kasady[]

A few months later, the West Coast edition of the Bugle reported on the story of deranged serial killer Cletus Kasady, with the story being written by Eddie Brock, ahead of Kasady's death trial. By reporting on this piece, Brock did something the San Francisco Police Department could not.

After killing Kasady and his symbiote Carnage, Brock became a fugitive of the police and was forced to go on the run, inadvertently leaving the tabloid.[5]
