• In the comics, Thaddeus Paine is a doctor that lacked tactile sensations. With an affinity of experimenting on the terminally-ill, he once attempted to do so with Eddie Brock and Venom. Venom entered Paine's head to deprive his brain of phenethylamine, which he requires to survive.
