- Admin Decision: Name Moved to Search for the Codex {{{sig}}}
"Hunt for Venom" is not the appropriate name for this war. I think the word Hunt should be exclusive used for the events and war related to Kraven the Hunter (film). It is his specialty. Instead, I propose rename it to "Search for the Codex"/"Search for Venom's Codex", for two reasons:
- It's best for wars call them in base of a phrase that is mentioned or conjugated to give the name, such as "Infinity War" on MCU's wiki (because the movie its called like that) or "Carnage's Rampage" in this very wiki (it's catchy and conjugates well). In the case of my proposed name, Knull says these words: "At last, a codex has been created. It is the key to my freedom. It will unlock this prison. I ordered you to search the corner of the universe, until you find this key. Find me, the codex."
- Neither Knull nor the Xenophages care about Venom at all to be hunting him specifically. As Knull orders in the previous quote, they are not "hunting Venom", they are searching the key made in Eddie Brock's body after Venom revived him, basically the codex. More specifically, what I mean by this is that the Xenophages are not designed to hunt Venom, because they could have perfectly killed him all the times he got inside Eddie's body (when he's not exposed); they are designed to track the Codex.
