The Symbiote Invasion was an investigation lead by reporter Eddie Brock in an attempt to reveal the truth behind the Life Foundation's secret experiments. This lead to the discovery of a planned invasion from an alien race known as Symbiotes along with Brock himself becoming bonded to a symbiote called Venom.[1]
