Meeting up with Brock[]

Richard was greeted by Eddie Brock, while they did, he asked Brock if he should move his motorcycle away, as he was not allowed to park in that area. Brock told him that there was no such thing as "can't" and asked about his daughter on how she was doing. Richard told them that she had been accepted into the many colleges she was getting into, to which Brock retorted back into what he had said about no such thing as "can't". Despite his gratitude, Richard promptly told him not to park in area he is in, to which Brock continued celebrating.[1]
Stopping Brock[]
- "You know you're not supposed to be here, Eddie."

"Look, I got love for you, bro, but no can do."

Six months later, Richard was then greeted back by Eddie Brock, who returned into the building he used to work for, and Richard promptly told him that he could not let him trespass through. Being told that there was no such thing as "can't", Richard continued to restrict access from Brock so he could keep his job. Being bonded by the Venom symbiote, Eddie told it that he will not eat him because he had a family, causing confusion with Richard. As Eddie was leaving, Richard questioned him on what he was talking to.[1]
