The Rescue of Frances Barrison was the successful attempt by serial killer Cletus Kasady and his psychotic symbiote Carnage to break Frances Barrison out of the Ravencroft Institute.

After the birth of the Carnage symbiote, who manifested from inside serial killer Cletus Kasady's body, the two escaped from San Quentin State Prison.[1]
The Rescue[]
Carnage infiltrating the Ravencroft institute
Cletus killed a man in an alley and stole his clothes, he also took a car, driving while talking to his symbiote, who said that they needed to kill Venom in order to be indestructible. The two made a deal, Cletus would help him find Venom and Eddie Brock if Carnage helped him find and rescue Frances Barrison first. Cletus drove to a gas station, where he brutally attacked one of the employees, only to later used his laptop in order to find his lover. The Carnage symbiote used its technopathy to search for Frances, finding out that she was transferred to Ravencroft.
Carnage escaping from Ravencroft
Carnage and Kasady broke into Ravencroft at the same time Dr. Camille Pazzo was taunting Francis about her imprisonment, only for Cletus to sneak inside her cell and reunite with Frances while Carnage strangled Pazzo to death. The two psychotic lovers kissed while several Ravencroft guards arrived at their cell before being quickly killed by Carnage, who then rushed the two out of Ravencroft and into their stolen car. As the two criminals drove away, various police cars and choppers followed them in persue of Kasady due to his prison escape, only to be mercilessly killed by Carnage as the criminals successfully drove away from Ravencroft.[1]
Aftermath[]
Cletus, Carnage and Shriek later burned down the St. Estes Home for Unwanted Children and decided to get married at a cathedral.[1]
