Biography[]
Living on the Streets[]
As a homeless person living on the streets of San Francisco, she slept outside Mrs. Chen's Store. She typically took free newspapers and then sold them to bypassing people for $5, to which she saved for Eddie, who paid her out of sympathy.[1]
Test Subject[]
Soon after, she was taken by the Life Foundation, where she signed a waiver and was subjected to the Venom symbiote. However, it reacted badly with her body, and when Eddie attempted to break her out of her containment, she attacked him, causing Venom to transfer between the two, leaving Maria to die.[1]
