Lava[1] was a symbiote captured in Area 55, who died fighting the Xenophages while protecting Venom's Codex.

Symbiote Invasion[]
LF1 Crash[]
In 2018, Lava was part of the symbiote invasion team led by Riot. After crashing the LF1 at Borneo Forest Reserve, Lava was one of the only symbiotes to escape the hands of the Life Foundation, but they were later captured by the United States Army as they fled under a tree. Lava then was analysed and confined in Area 55, as part of the Imperium Program.[2]

In July 2021, When the symbiotes were released by Dr. Teddy Paine and Sadie Christmas, Lava fused with a human and fights a xenophage. Outside, Lava went to the front of the battle, striking a blow at the Xenophage, but the Xenophage responded by consuming him, killing him and his host.[2]
Personality[]
Lava is a brave warrior, being a symbiote that always attacks the Xenophages head on, even if this could cost him his life. He also has the characteristic of hitting with its tentacles, giving forceful blows when used as a whip.

- In the comics, Rascal is the symbiote bonded to Norman Osborn's grandson Normie who takes up the vigilante name Red Goblin.
- Lava has also a resembelence to Ultimate Carnage from Earth-1610.
