According to Jack, Eddie Brock had "nowhere to go" until he employed him for The Eddie Brock Report.[1]
Carlton Drake Interview[]
In 2018, Jack asked Eddie Brock to interview Carlton Drake about his rockets for an exclusive interview in order for Drake to assure everybody that they were safe from the LF1 Crash. However, Eddie then criticized Drake, so Jack had to convince him only to ask about the rockets, thank Drake and bid him a nice day. The argument only continued up to a point where Jack told Eddie that he was not above the network and asked him not to mess up the interview. Eddie then reluctantly accepted.[1]
Firing Eddie Brock[]
Following Eddie Brock's disastrous interview with Carlton Drake, he was brought into Jack's office. After Eddie went on about how Drake was bad, Jack asked him for his source. Eddie then revealed it was only his hunch, before Jack reminded him that they had to back up their claims. He then fired Eddie for being untrustworthy, and told him to have a nice life.[1]
