Earth-199999,[1][2] also known as Earth-616,[3] is a universe within the Multiverse.
History[]
Home to Superheroes[]
This alternate reality has been home to a large number of superhumans and heroes, most notably a billionaire with a flying suit and a green being called Hulk, as well as the superhero Spider-Man.[4][5]
The Snap and Blip[]
In 2018, a purple alien sought after a group of powerful stones and used them to kill half of all life in the universe, though they were restored to life five years later.[4][5]
Failed Spell[]

In 2024, Peter Parker sought the help of the sorcerer Doctor Strange to cast a spell that would make everyone forget he was Spider-Man. However, the spell was disrupted during the casting, causing various individuals from across the multiverse who knew Peter's secret to be pulled into Earth-199999.
One of these beings was Eddie/Venom, who had just connected to the symbiote hivemind moments before, giving them knowledge of Peter Parker's identity. Upon arriving in this new universe, Venom saw a news report accusing Spider-Man of killing Mysterio. Later, Brock and Venom visited a bar, where they struck up a conversation with the bartender.
However, a flaw in the spell caused Adrian Toomes from this universe to be transported to Venom and Eddieās homeworld, Earth-688.
While at the bar, a tipsy Eddie became fascinated by the superheroes in this universe and even poked fun at their names. He was skeptical about the tales of a certain "purple alien." Eddie and Venom debated whether to seek out Spider-Man or go skinny dipping, but ultimately, the spell whisked them back home, leaving a small piece of symbiote behind on the bar.[4][5]
