The Chase of Eddie Brock was a high-speed chase between Roland Treece and Eddie Brock after Eddie bonded with the symbiote Venom and escaped.
Background[]
After infiltrating into the Life Foundation Headquarters, Eddie encountered Maria and tried to break her out until an alarm went off, but after breaking Maria out of her capsule, she attacked Eddie and he became bonded with a symbiote. Eddie then got out from the facility and ran through the woods, finally managing to escape capture from the guards. While he believed that he had a parasite inside, Eddie went into his home and heard Ziggy playing his electric guitar loudly, when Ziggy refused to turn his music down Eddie accidentally let the symbiote come through, scaring Ziggy, who agreed to turn his music down. Eddie then grew crazed, screaming and wishing for the symbiote to leave his body.[1]
Chase[]
Members of the Life Foundation lead by their head of security, Roland Treece, came to Eddie's door looking to acquire the symbiote back from him. The symbiote then attacked the thugs while Eddie looked, confused about the situation.
Eddie decided made a run for it, coming to realize what was really inside of him. Eddie hopped on a motorcycle, slowly getting away from the thugs with the symbiote's help, only to be hit by Treece's van, which brutally injured Eddie. When Treece hopped out of the van, the symbiote took over Eddie's body, enveloping him and finally becoming Venom while lifting Roland up off the ground.
Eddie Brock becomes Venom
After expressing his desire of consuming the Roland, Venom was shot by another thug, resulting in him turning around and biting the man's head off, before being shot by the police. Venom then swam away, before the symbiote went back into Eddie.[1]
Aftermath[]
Eddie later noticed that he recovered from his injuries, as soon as he acknowledged Venom, the symbiote appeared in front of him. Eddie seemed disgusted by Venom eating someone, to which Venom replied that it was "fuel in the tank" and that the symbiotes had found a species to bond with.[1]
