"Venom, get in the rocket!"
"No! We won't let you destroy this world!"
"Then die!"

Battle[]

Inside of a space shuttle launch, Riot attacked the Life Foundation members, engaging in the rocket's countdown. Riot jumps out of the window to get inside the rocket only to be blocked by Venom. Riot told Venom to get in the rocket, to which Venom said they wouldn't have the world destroyed by him.

The two fought, with Riot ripping Venom off of Eddie Brock, after which Eddie then re-bonded with Venom. As the Symbiotes were reaching the rocket, Anne Weying used the shuttle's loudspeakers to extract the symbiotes from them. Riot was separated from Drake as with Venom also separated from Eddie. As the two landed on a space shuttle platform, Drake fought Eddie in a standstill only to be defeated by him, looking off the edge as his Symbiote crawled to him, laughed at Edie for his ignorance of not understanding the next stage of evolution, before being kicked off the edge.

Drake was bonded again with Riot, stabbing Eddie, and standing his grounds by mockingly telling him that "he is nothing", before leaving for the LF2 rocket for it to launch into space, but Venom returned and resurrected Eddie, saving him and healing the impalement wound but creating a Codex, a key that would free their creator from his prison. Venom then takes out Riot's arm-blade and then leaps onto the rocket, as Riot sees this and angrily calls Venom a "traitor". Venom mockingly tells Riot to "have a nice life" (an ironic echo to what Drake said earlier in the film to Eddie), as Venom fell and used Riot's arm-blade to puncture the LF2 rocket's fuel-tanks and fuel line, cutting it open and causing the rocket's liquid fuel to spill out. As Riot watches in horror, the fuel contacted the burning (and superheated) engines and its exhaust plume of the LF2 rocket, causing the liquid fuel to ignite, and the rocket's fuel tanks to explode and its hull to rupture from the ignited fuel, turning it into a massive fireball. The flames and heat from the explosion kill Drake and Riot as they both scream in agonizing pain from the flames burning them. As the LF2 rocket continues to be destroyed from the explosion, the blistering heat seemingly makes the bond between the Symbiote and the host impossible. Venom ejects himself from Eddie and turns himself into a makeshift parachute, telling Eddie goodbye as Venom is ignited and dissipated, with Eddie himself falling into the water below, while the Life Foundation's launchpad is now on fire as a result of the burning wreckage from the now destroyed LF2 rocket falling.[1]

Aftermath[]

After the supposed demise of Venom, Eddie Brock went back and had a conversation with Anne Weying the next day. However, both Eddie and Venom remained secretly bonded to each other. After Eddie explained Venom that he had to follow some norms on Earth and stated that the only people Venom could harm or eat were those that were threatening to others, they went to Mrs. Chen's Store in the night for food as Venom preferred tater tots and chocolate.[1]
