The Attack on Eddie Brock was an attempt by the San Francisco Police Department to apprehend Eddie Brock.
Background[]
After realizing that the symbiote was dangerous, Eddie Brock went back to his former workplace but was stopped by Richard, and Eddie went away before Venom could kill Richard and changes back into Venom to climb up onto the top of the building. Eddie and Venom were both then effected by the sounds of an airplane traveling above them and both almost fell down from the building.[1]
Attack[]
After both Venom and Eddie break into the building so that Brock can turn in evidence of Drake's crimes, Eddie decided to take the elevator due to his fear of heights, but he then encountered a SWAT team on the first floor that tried to arrest him while pointing their guns at him.
Eddie warned the gunmen to not fight him, but they refused, resulting in Eddie letting Venom took over and fight all of the SWAT team down. During the fight Venom even tried to eat one of the police men until Eddie stopped him, the attack is also witnessed by Anne Weying, whom Eddie later explains his current situation.[1]
Aftermath[]
Anne took Eddie to the hospital in order to separate him from the symbiote, not knowing that a drone was spying on her while she was driving which caused Eddie to be kidnaped later on.[1]
