The Attack on Area 51 was a surprise attack planned by the Xenophages upon tracking Venom to Area 51 and Area 55, killing several soldiers in an attempt to capture the Symbiote, while the others fled. In defense to prevent the arrival of Knull, Eddie Brock and Venom joined forces with the United States Armed Forces and an army of Symbiotes also seeking to stop Knull, although most of them lost their lives. With the Xenophages regenerating, Venom was able to absorb them and along with Rex Strickland, activated an acid bath that destroyed both the Xenophages and Venom, allowing Eddie and his allies to survive.
