Area 51 was a highly classified United States Air Force research facility located in Alamo, Nevada. The government was in the process of officially decommissioning Area 51 and moving their Symbiote research project, the Imperium Program, to a covert subsurface bunker known as Area 55. The facility was destroyed during the attack of the Xenophages.

Capturing Symbiotes[]
After they left Klyntar, dozens of Symbiotes were captured by the United States Army under Rex Strickland after they arrived on Earth. Afterwards, they were taken to and contained at Area 51 for research.
