Agony[1] is a purple symbiote who was discovered by the United States Armed Forces and imprisoned at Area 55. Agony became the host of Teddy Paine during the Xenophage attack on Area 51.

Seeing Sadie Christmas in danger, Teddy fuses with the symbiote who saves it and becomes Agony and rescues Sadie. The two women go with Agony.[2]

- Possession: Agony can transfer itself from host to host upon physical contact with them, as it was able to go into Teddy Paine's flesh as if intangible.

- Superhuman Speed: This symbiote has the elemental ability of channeling electrical energy, for its host to have movement at maximum speed.

- Lightning Generation: Unlike in the comics, Agony seems to possess bio-electrical powers in place of the ability to spit acid, but it is unknown if they still have this ability so far.

- In the comics, Agony was created one of five symbiote "children" forcefully spawned from the Venom symbiote along with Riot, Lasher, Phage and Scream.
Behind the Scenes[]
