And now Clyde's found Bonnie, and there's a dead psychiatrist at a facility I knew nothing about until today. And people are talking about seeing monsters."

- An email shown in the first film that indicates its prologue is set in 2018. Per the 6-month time jump in the movie and Andy Serkis saying a year and a half passes between films, the main events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage should be around 24 months after Venom's prologue, meaning the latter film is most likely in 2020.
- A magazine appearing in Mrs. Chen's store which is dated to 2020.
- Serkis saying Shriek has spent 25 years at Ravencroft. As shown in the film, Barrison was sent to Ravencroft in 1996, meaning the present would ideally be in 2021. This is unlikely given the other evidence, so the best possible solution would be for Barrison to have been locked up in early 1996 and the main events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage having a late 2020 placement (a high 24 years that's close to 25).
- Venom attending a party which is implied to be for either Halloween or Día de Muertos, which fall on October 31 and November 1-2 respectively each year. This means that the film would occur around October-November 2020, fitting well with it ideally being late into the year.
- Eddie Brock's The Daily Bugle draft article being dated to "10.29.20", definitively setting this scene on October 29, 2020, which fits perfectly with the other evidence.

This implies Eddie and Venom passed through New Year after the events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which is set in late 2020. Therefore, the new year is, at least, 2021.
In Venom: The Last Dance, Rex Strickland confirms "It's July", placing the events of the film during this month. Finally, in the scene where Moon's Family and Eddie Brock arrives at Las Vegas, there is a celebration with fireworks. The only holiday of that magnitude celebrated in Las Vegas in July is the Independence Day, placing the scene in July 4th. This also fits with Venom's interest on the Statue of Liberty. - ↑ 5.0 5.1 5.2 Morbius
