Just an anonymous guy here, but I want to share a cool (I think) idea that could work as a TV show based on Venom: The Last Dance's plotpoints. here's the idea.

The new SSU would be akin to the Amazing Spider-Man universe, with Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man being canon to that universe and the one from No Way Home. The series would also focus more on Venom the symbiote, leaving rooms for both Spider-Man and Eddie Brock as deuteragonists or secondary main characters. I'll explain later.

The main plot is the symbiote Codex, but instead of being a combined life force & key like in the movie, it's the device that allowed Knull to create the symbiote Hivemind and supports multidimensional travel, but stolen by Venom centuries ago to save Earth. It is now within Spider-Man as the remains of Venom due to being transported into Earth-616.

Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man's speech of not pulling his punches and being more rageful & messed up in No Way Home would be linked to him having the Venom symbiote, an alien who was exiled on Earth centuries ago & recently experimented by Richard Parker for purposes beneficial for humans (yes i pulled this out of Marc Webb's butt). Andrew would reject the symbiote, but a few days after he did, he didn't get a chance to fight Venom, hence, he wanted to "fight an alien" in No Way Home.

The show would also involve the Imperium, but it would have been a secret human-symbiote militarian base instead of a research lab capturing symbiotes, a description they'd use to mask at the world. So the Codex is within Spider-Man, instead of Eddie, right? The Imperium would find different ways but end up hiring Reed Richards, who is the supervillain The Maker in this universe, to extract the codex but he is secretly working with Knull for the ability to "restart" the universe. Eddie and Venom would have to retrieve the Codex and make a sacrifice, but instead of one killing themselves, they'd have to use it to go to a different universe, and within the MCU multiverse.....you know there's always a "higher calling" watching over this big cluster of universes

Basically, I want to create a Venom project with a lot of emphasis on the story but acts as a small follow-up to No Way Home. what do you think?

It's my understanding that in some storylines, the Venom symbiote has actually bonded to the Mad Titan. Well, can you imagine how terrifying it would be if that, coupled with the latter amassing all six Infinity Stones, actually took place on the big silver screen?

In the 2000s section when you select the year 2008 you can see what is still missing, but I wonder ¿Is it possible that the flashbacks of Kraven the Hunter take place in that year? Maybe it's just there because they wanted to add something else that had nothing to do with it, but I don't think it's crazy to think that the flashbacks from that film take place in that year

If we assume that what I am saying is true ¿Does that mean we could place the events of the film sometime in 2024?

- ¿In what year and month does Kraven the Hunter take place? Cletus Kasady's name - Dead appears on his list, so it's implied that the film takes place after Venom 2, but it's unknown if it takes place in 2020, 2021 before Venom 3 or after

- ¿Is it known in what year and month Spot's visit to Mrs. Chen's shop takes place, or is it simply impossible to calculate?

- ¿Will the Spider-Noir Series be Canon for the SSU?

So I was scrolling through r/marvelstudios and I found this post of a user saying that SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME IS FINALLY STREAMING ON DISNEY+! I'VE WAITED 3,5 YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT! And after a quick search, I found out that Venom: Let There Be Carnage, my personal favorite Sony-verse movies, is also added to Disney+! Now I say Disney+, but that should be corrected to Disney+ JAPAN...yeah, only if you're in Japan or you got a good VPN, you'll be able to watch these 2 movies! That's a bummer for sure, but the fact they're already watchable on Disney+ in one country might suggest they join the libraries of other countries' Disney+ too! Like, in various countries including mine (the Netherlands) we already had the Raimi-trilogy, the The Amazing Spider-Man movies, the other 2 MCU Spider-Man movies, Into The Spider-Verse, the first Venom movie and even Morbius have been streaming on Disney+! It makes sense for one of the highest-grossing and most popular movies of all-time, and also for the best Venom movie, to be added to Disney+ too! Like I said, a LOT of people have been anticipating this for a VERY LONG time, including myself of course...

Also, because Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock/Venom appeared in the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and also because the post-credit scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the post-credit scene of Morbius and the beginning of Venom: The Last Dance tied in to the ending of No Way Home, it was worth reporting that No Way Home was added to Disney+ Japan and not only reporting about Let There Be Carnage being added to Disney+ Japan.

So, for the Japanese users on this wiki that have access to Disney+ Japan, are you going to watch these movies, either one or both? As soon as they'll be added to Disney+ the Netherlands I'll be watching them both, for now I have Loki Season 2, Werewolf By Night and Deadpool & Wolverine as my favorite things to watch on Disney+ to make up in the meantime! But the moment that No Way Home adds that list...I can only dream of it! Enjoy if you'll be able to watch!

What do you think the fate of this whole franchise is gonna be? You think they'll reboot it and add more stuff? Or is Spider-Noir the end of the it all together?

So, in case you missed it, a few days ago, user Chemistry11 shared these cancelled popcorn bucket and drinking cup design for the movie Madame Web on the subreddit r/PopcornBuckets. The user told his story: he worked for a corporation that used to sell popcorn buckets and drinking cups for movies, and he had this habit where he would take one of the popcorn buckets of the load he recieved home. As he did with these Madame Web popcorn buckets, only corporate send out a message that the popcorn buckets had to remain in the boxes, and several weeks later, they had to be returned for destruction. These popcorn buckets never appeared on shelves when Madame Web premiered...

These popcorn bucket and drinking cup shows the pages of the Daily Bugle, with tons on references hidden on the pages such as Doctor Octopus opening a massage clinic. Not crazy, we've seen the Daily Bugle containing references to other Spider-Man villains on their pages in the movies. But here's the catch. The references are to the heroes and villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like Doctor Strange becoming a performer in LA, or Groot hosting his own talkshow called 'I Am Groot', mentions of Drax, a cult dedicated to Thanos, Stark Industries underpaying workers...HOW?

This is most likely the reason why these popcorn buckets were called back. I can't imagine Marvel/Disney being okay with Sony using their MCU characters on popcorn buckets promoting their movie. Honestly, as I'm writing about this, I'm starting to question if these popcorn bucket and drinking cup are legit. But the big channels have been covering it on YouTube and the socials, and this sounds like such a thing that Sony would do. And it would explain why the Madame Web popcorn bucket we got was just pitch-black with the movie logo and some webbing on it, a design that feels too simple. Like Sony dedicated to making this popcorn bucket, but were called back when Marvel/Disney learned Sony used their MCU characters on these popcorn buckets, so they had to come up with something quickly. What do you guys think?

You're reading the title of this post and you think: WHAT? Well that's exactly what I was aiming for to do, but I'll promise that the title will become totally clear by finishing this post. I think we all heard the news: Avengers: Doomsday is delayed from May 2026 to December 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars from May 2027 to December 2027. This is mostly good news, because this will allow the people working on these movies to get the best results out of them. The lesser part of this news is that Thunderbolts*/The New Avengers playing in theaters now and The Fantastic Four: First Steps blasting into theaters this summer, we won't have any Marvel movies playing in theaters for a full year, until Spider-Man: Brand New Day webs into theaters summer 2026. This means we'll have one of the biggest gaps between MCU movies in a long time (the last time being the gap between Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019 and Black Widow in 2021, due to COVID).

Now we're slowly getting used to there being some gaps between MCU movies. In 2023, we had Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 releasing in May and The Marvels releasing in November. The only MCU movie released last year was Deadpool & Wolverine. But it doesn't feel like that. Because 2024 was Sony's biggest year for the SSU, with Madame Web releasing in February, Venom: The Last Dance releasing in October and Kraven The Hunter releasing in December. Though they're not officially canon to the MCU, we still had 4 Marvel movies releasing in 2024 with only one MCU movie, filling up the gap between The Marvels, Deadpool & Wolverine and Captain America; Brave New World...

And that's where my point comes in. Whether there's a bigger gap in between of MCU movies (mostly for the better though, because the quality of MCU movies will be improved by this), we had Sony coming in with some mediocre Spider-Man-related movies, but it was still Marvel that we bought tickets to see in the theater. Now all Marvel content we'll have is some mediocre Disney+ series nobody asked for, and the Spider-Noir series for Amazon under Sony's watch. In that way, some might miss the Sony Spider-Man movies, not in terms of them being such great movies, but missing Marvel-related movies we got to see when the MCU wasn't serving.

Ezekiel Sims, portrayed by Tahar Rahim from Madame Web, is truly the worst villain ever. All he ever does he complain and repeat everything on "those girls cannot exist". And his ADR dialogue doesn't match his mouth, and his motives doesn't make sense and he's completely one-dimensional. What do you guys think? Isn't he also the most hated villain?

I wonder if the reason why SSU version of the chameleon is a shapeshifter instead of regular master of disguise is because they don’t want him to be accused of ripping off the peacock and sky show the day of the jackal in which Eddie redmayne plays the jackal as a more comic accurate version of what the chameleon is supposed to be?

When you look at actual hunters, they argue that they are doing animals a favor by hunting.

When we see the Chameleon Shapeshift into Kraven, into his iconic true form (blank white face) and back into how he looks for most of the film, is it me or are the transition effect a discount version of the transition effects used on the fox live action version of mystique?
